I’m a Brazilian family physician, medical educator, and simulationist based in Orlando, Florida. With over 13 years of experience as a faculty member, coordinator, and researcher, I’m passionate about transforming healthcare education through innovation and creativity.

I hold a Ph.D. and a Master’s in Health Sciences, and my work focuses on developing simulators, educational games, and immersive learning strategies using virtual and extended reality (VR/XR/AR). I also design training programs for medical educators in active methodologies, clinical simulation, and gamification.

I currently collaborate as an invited researcher at CEDEM – Development Center of Medical Education at the University of São Paulo.
